The NFL Network has lost a round in its bid to get broader distribution. A judge has ruled in favor of Comcast that it can put the NFL Network on a sports tier. The NFL sued seeking to be put on basic cable, but the dispute prevented millions of fans from seeing eight games on the channel last fall. Comcast said it didn’t want to charge customers extra for the service.
