Blue Jackets Re-Sign Prospal

Brian Stubits at CBS Sports reports that the Columbus Blue Jackets have extended Vinny Prospal’s contract for another year at $2.5 million.

Prospal has 9g, 24a this season.

…so much for a return engagement with the Rangers. While lots of Blueshirts fans were called for Sather to bring back Prospal, I was not in favor of his possible return to Broadway. The Rangers have enough bottom six forwards. They need a real sniper.
