Edmonton Oilers v Buffalo Sabres

The Blues-Stars game on Friday night was a blast from the past. Defense was optional for both teams as the Blues won 7-5. There were a ton of different angles and topics to discuss in a game that featured 12 goals, but one of the most notable was the fact the Blues and Stars combined to set a new NHL record.

The two teams rattled off four goals in just 49 seconds. This broke the old record of four goals in 53 seconds set by the Maple Leafs and Blackhawks in 1983.
