The St. Louis Blues announced that they have assigned former Rangers prospect Evgeni Grachev to their AHL affiliate in Peoria.
Grachev, 21, recorded two assists in 17 appearances with the Blues this season.
The Rangers traded Grachev to the Blues for a third round pick during June’s draft which the Rangers used to draft Steven Fogarty of the Penticton Vees (BCHL).
…i killed the Rangers for trading Grachev in June, but once again Gordie Clark proves he knows what he’s doing. I guess that’s why he’s making actual decisions for the Rangers and I’m just blogging about them.
