An ugly 2-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres set a new franchise record as the Blues hit 52 wins in a season for the first time in the club’s history. It wasn’t the team’s best effort of the year (in fact, it may have been one of the worst in which they still earned two points), but it was good enough to best the lowly Sabres.
The Blues have six games left on their schedule and have the opportunity to push their newly achieved record a bit higher.
