The St. Louis Blues impressed for long stretches against the New Jersey Devils and walked away with a 4-3 win after a unnerving finish. Ken Hitchcock wasn’t too happy to watch his team nearly cough up a big lead in the game’s final minutes, but he still must appreciate the fact his team has ascended to the top of the Central after a sluggish start.
The win, the team’s seventh in seven games, was an ironic milestone for Hitchcock. The win was the 666th of his career and of course it came against the Devils.
