Way back when, Bo Jackson knew everything he needed to know about hitting home runs and scoring touchdowns.
Now, the former two-sport star knows more about biking and, believe it or not…burgers. Jackson recently teamed up with Jensen Meat out of Southern California to bring the world, wait for it, Bo’s Burgers.
Seriously.
“We’re all about producing flavorful, great tasting burgers that retain their juiciness,” Jensen Meat CEO Abel Olivera said. “We got to collaborate on Bo’s Burgers blends that allow that juicy steak flavor to come through in every bite.”
This isn’t Jackson’s first foray into the beef business. A year ago, the former slugger’s VEJ Holdings joined up with beef supplier Two Rivers to launch Bo Jackson’s 34 Reserve…a line featuring ribeyes, striploins, tenderloins and sirloin cuts of beef.
Bo’s Burgers will be available in mid-July.
