During an appearance last night on CSNNE, Bob Ryan stated the Celtics are high on North Carolina swingman Harrison Barnes. It’s going to take more than the Celtics 21st and 22nd picks to land Barnes. There’s a report that Charlotte is considering Barnes with the 2nd pick.
Ryan had some scathing criticism for Brandon Bass:
I’m not nuts about Brandon Bass. Bass was utterly exposed in the playoffs as he’s the most incompetent low post player of his size I’ve ever seen in the NBA.
Ouch.
He’s right. Bass does not have a back-to-the-basket game. But the dude can shoot.
