Tucked into a nice little piece this morning in the Star about Colts’ players wedding plans and how they intersected with camps and workouts was this nugget:
Pro Bowl safety Bob Sanders also was able to squeeze a wedding into
his busy summer. Although he declined to offer specifics, the ceremony
was a few weeks ago followed by a short honeymoon. His bride did most
of the scheduling.“I just pretty much said, ‘Yes,’ ” Sanders said. “That was my job.”
Dang, Bob. Congratulations! You guys are sure to have some bad ass kids someday. 18to88 has managed to secure an exclusive photo of the event:
I’m sorry Bob, that is the whitest zombie I’ve ever seen. Whatever, it was the best I could do on short notice. Don’t be mad at me…please.
And in case you were wondering, yes, it IS hard to find interesting stories in the offseason. Thanks for asking!

Per Oehser, the AP has picked up the Irsay/Moore/Mudd story. Most of the quotes are basically the same as what Chappell had.
He also links to Chappell appearing in USA Today. The article is a rehash of Reggie Wayne stuff we heard this weekend, but nice nonetheless. The weird part is the stupid headline the editors put on it: “With Harrison gone, Colts have New WR Star”. Uh, in what way is Wane a new star? I’m pretty sure he’s been a star since about 2004.
CHFF, I am forever in your debt. This is the funniest freaking thing I’ve seen in a long, long time.
Demond insisted I embed this too. He described it as: so bizzarre, so awesome.
