For the 1,000th time, the NFL doesn’t need four preseason games, and once the new collective bargaining agreement is signed (whenever that happens), it’s likely we will go to two preseason games and 18 regular-season games.
First, it’s a monumental rip-off of the fans, who pay full price for cut-rate entertainment. But from a football point of view, there are only 80 players in today’s training camps. Nobody needs four games anymore.
