Bolts Cut 18 – Roster Down To 40: UPDATED

As expected, the Lightning trimmed their roster by 18 players today. The roster is now at 40 on its way down to 23. The roster now is made up of 23 forwards, 14 defensemen and three goalies. Here are the players that were cut and their assignments.

UPDATE:  After tonight’s 5-4 shootout victory over the Panthers, Vladislav Namestikov, Cedric Paquette, Philipppe Paradis, and Geoff Walker (waivers) were assigned to the Syracuse Crunch trimming the roster to 36.
