The Tampa Bay Lightning are doing their part to help members of their community who have been affected by sexual and domestic violence. The Tampa Police Department and the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay will be hosting a donation drive to the Bolts game on Thursday April 9th.
They will be collecting canned food and new clothing items to benefit survivors and families facing life challenges. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and this donation drive is part of the Crisis Center’s month long Take Back The Night initiative.
Fans who donate ten non-perishable food items or a new article of clothing will receive a free ticket voucher for a Tampa Bay Storm arena football game.
