Just in time for Monday’s game against the Panthers the Lightning has recalled forwards Jonathan Marchessault and Mike Blunden.
Beat writer Joe Smith says:
“It’s unclear which specific players might be questionable for Monday, but center Tyler Johnson was banged up late in the second period of Saturday’s game, though returned later in the third period. He did not skate at Sunday’s practice. Neither did Cedric Paquette, whose last shift came with 10 minutes left in the third.”
“We’ll see in the A.M.,” GM Steve Yzerman said.
The Bolts roster had two open spots as they were carrying just 12 forwards and seven defensemen. The move was made as insurance for Monday night.
