The Tampa Bay Lightning recalled defenseman Luke Witkowski from the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch today. The move probably was insurance for injured defenseman Anton Stralman who is day-to-day with an upper body injury. He’s likely to miss at least three games.
In a reciprocal move, the Syracuse Crunch recalled Adam Comrie from the Kalamazoo Wings.
