Marchessault, 23, has played in 56 games with Springfield this season, recording 14 goals and a team-leading 41 points.
An AHL All-Star in 2012 and 2013, Marchessault has appeared in 206 career AHL games with Springfield and Connecticut, tallying 59 goals and 113 assists for 172 points. He also has four goals and three assists in 17 Calder Cup Playoff matches, and has appeared in two career NHL games with the Blue Jackets.
Smith, 21, has played in 50 games with Springfield this season, recording four goals and five assists for nine points. He leads the Falcons with 99 penalty minutes.
As a rookie in 2012-13, Smith registered three goals, six assists and a team-high 128 PIM in 67 games for the Falcons. Smith was a second-round draft choice (34th overall) by Columbus in 2010.
Tyrell, 24, has tallied nine goals and 12 assists for 21 points in 44 games with Syracuse this season, while also skating in seven NHL games with Tampa Bay. He has totaled 28 goals and 52 assists for 80 points in 162 career AHL games with Syracuse and Norfolk.
Tyrell has recorded seven goals, 17 assists and 119 penalty minutes in 132 career NHL games, all with the Lightning. He was selected by Tampa Bay in the second round, 47th overall, of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Taormina, 27, has six goals and 12 assists for 18 points in 41 games with Syracuse this season, and has seen action in seven games with Tampa Bay. In 215 career AHL games with Syracuse, Albany/Lowell and Binghamton, Taormina has registered 28 goals and 85 assists for 113 points.
Taormina has appeared in 56 career NHL contests with Tampa Bay and New Jersey, tallying four goals and eight assists for 12 points as well as a plus/minus rating of plus-6.
