Bosh has monster night in Memphis, but Grizzlies claw to the win

Chris Bosh came up huge tonight with a stat line of 37 points, 12 boards, 4 dimes, 1 steal, and 2 blocks, but it wasn’t enough to get past the Memphis Grizzlies in the Raptors first road game of the season. The Raptors were up 1 point going into the final frame with the score at 77-76, but they were outscored 39-30 in a high scoring 4th quarter. The Grizzlies came out on top 115-107 in front of a sparse crowd @ the FedEx Forum.

All 5 Grizzlies starters finished with double digit scoring, highlighted by Zach Randolph’s 30 points, 7 boards, 3 dimes, and 1 block.

This was the Raptors first loss of the season, conversely it was the Grizzlies first victory.

The official attendance for the game was announced as 10,563. FedEx Forum’s official capacity for basketball is 18,119, and the lack of attendance was quite evident in the game’s telecast tonight on TSN2.

Up next for the Raptors is a matchup vs. Vince Carter (maybe), Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic in a home matinee game on Sunday @ 1pm EST. The Magic are currently sitting with a 2-0 record on the season.
