Hello NBA Fans, especially to my fellow Boston Celtics fans! With just over a month before the NBA season tips-off, the Celtics may be without Rajon Rondo. As we all recall, Rajon Rondo suffered a torn right ACL, Danny Ainge mentioned Rondo would be back for the 2013-2014 season.
However, the all-star Rondo is set to miss the Celtics’ preseason and some of the regular season games. The good news is Rondo was in Boston to work with the new head coach Brad Stevens. Stevens reported Rondo is limited to what he can do on the court. Also, there is no timetable set for Rondo’s return and you have to introduce him to a new system. Stevens would like to play him on October 7th but Rondo may be not available. Stevens is confident playing without the all-star guard. He believes the other players can fill in his shoes and then incorporate him to the system when he’s ready. As the season approaches it will be interesting to watch this unfolds!
