If you know anything about me at all…you know I love baseball AND I love cupcakes. So, a charity event which links the two is just about as perfect as perfect can get.
This weekend there is going to be a Boston vs. NYY Cupcake War. It’s Jason Varitek vs. Bernie Williams. Both former MLB stars are selling cupcakes at Georgetown Cupcakes to raise money for charity. Georgetown Cupcakes has a locations in both Boston and New York. 100% of all the profits go to the charity of the respective player’s choice. The cupcakes will start going on sale this Thursday July 19th and will be sold until the end of the day on Sunday July 22nd. So don’t miss your opportunity to come on into the store and support Tek and his charity cupcake war!
Jason Varitek is raising money for Pitching In For Kids which is a fantastic non-profit organization which is dedicated to improve the lives of children across New England. Tek has been a long time supporter of the organization.
