The winning streak is no more. The Angels were on one of the most impressive and dominant rolls of the 2014 season, so it is only fitting that they end the streak by laying a total egg. It isn’t a big deal, they were going to lose eventually, but I don’t think anyone saw it ending with Dallas Keuchel just laying waste to them.
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Um, yeah. A big fat load of nothing. C.J. Cron, in particular, is making the least of his opportunities to grab hold of the open spot in the lineup.

What the hell, Hector Santiago? Seriously, what was that? Are you trying to make us all nervous about your potential performance in the postseason? If so, job well done. But knock it off though.
Dallas Keuchel strikes again. This isn’t the first time that he has shoved against the Angels, but it was quite unexpected. Keuchel is good, but to see him just obliterate a lineup that had practically been scoring double-digit runs in games almost by accident was really a surprise. Further proof that baseball is just weird.
Bullpen Battle

The Astros bullpen didn’t give the Angels much to work with. Instead, the Angels bullpen made matters worse as the youngsters, Cam Bedrosian and Jairo Diaz, completely hosed the situation after Vinnie Pestano heroically rescued Santiago from a bases loaded, no outs jam in the third.
Game Flow

What with Keuchel going several innings with a perfect game and Santiago getting hammered right out of the gate, this wasn’t ever a competitive game. It is basically the inverse of the game flow graphs from many of the recent Angels wins.
Halo A-Hole
Dammit, Hector.
