The Angels middle relief got themselves in a fair bit of trouble but managed to escape unscathed. A timely out made at home plate resulted in Huston Street earning his 300th save, a milestone which would mean a lot if saves weren’t a garbage statistic.

Things got hairy for the Halos in the third (and I’m not talking about C.J.’s luxurious mane of hair). The Halos were, however, unable to put the game away early as they have so often in the last 20 games.
