Mike Trout is so much better than everyone that he’s just out there looking for style points now. We’ve seen Trout have multi-homer games before. We’ve seen Trout hit grand slams before. But this time he hit a grand slam for his second homer and did it after shaking off a potentially scary wrist injury with the cherry on top of slam dunking the thing right into a fan’s net.

Robertson only got to play because Matt Joyce got knocked out, literally. Joyce somehow managed to stink enough before he got his skull cracked that he finished last in RE24. This is not Matt Joyce’s year.

Rougned Odor didn’t stink at all in this series as he had another very good game.

Nick Martinez was lucky to have as good a line as he did and he didn’t have a very good line.

Bullpen Battle

Huston Street doesn’t have any excuse for his poor effort other than him possibly contracting a case of “don’t give a f***”-itis. Sam Freeman was the true hero for the Rangers bullpen because he was the only one of the five to not allow a run.
