Let me preface this blog by saying I like Chris Sheridan. He’s covered the league for a long time and I trust/respect his reporting.
But… in his latest column he recommends the Knicks trade Carmelo Anthony. A fair point.
Sheridan offers two scenarios; Clippers and Celtics.
Here’s where we get nuts:
Wait, there’s more! In addition to Boston’s two best prospects, Sheridan throws in the Dallas and Memphis 1st round picks.
Four assets for a soon-to-be 32 year old player with cranky knees and $77 million remaining on his contract? I don’t think there’s a single C’s fan who would back this deal.
