According to various twitter sources in the Penn State football community, former Nittany Lions WR Brett Brackett and LB Chris Colasanti have joined the NFL ranks as undrafted free agents.
Former wide receiver Patrick Mauti tweeted that Brackett is headed for Miami, joining former teammates Jared Odrick and Mickey Shuler, along with class of 2005 LB Cameron Wake. Brackett will head to the Dolphins as a tight end, a position he played in its hybrid form last season.
Current LB Nathan Stupar also took to twitter to announce that his former teammate in the linebacking corps at Linebacker U, Chris Colasanti, is headed to Indianapolis. Colasanti is currently the only Penn Stater on the Colts roster.
Brackett and Colasanti will join Stefen Wisniewski and Evan Royster as the only other Nittany Lions from the class of 2010 currently in the NFL. Wisniewski was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 2nd round (No. 48 overall), while Royster was taken by the Washington Redskins in the 6th round (No. 177 overall).
Former DT Ollie Ogbu will likely find out where he is headed tomorrow, according to Lions 247.
