Avery Bradley was a defensive monster this year, and he’s finally been rewarded by making the NBA’s 1st Team All Defense (he was on the 2nd team three years ago). Bradley joins Kawhi Leonard, Draymond Green, DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul on the 1st team, making him the only Eastern Conference player on the squad. He was also the top 1st place vote-getter among the guards with 62.

The second team was made up of Tony Allen, Jimmy Butler, Hassan Whiteside, Paul Millsap and Paul George. Jae Crowder, who had three first-place votes, had 47 overall points to George’s 48, leaving him just one point behind George for the second forward spot on the second team.

Marcus Smart got two first place votes but just seven points overall.

Just goes to show how well the Celtics were able to defend overall this year. This team has some pit bulls on it, and they’re going to be ready to get back at it next season.
