Congratulations to Brandon Inge on working hard and having a terrific season to earn himself a roster spot in the 2009 All-Star Game (and congrats to the fans on voting their Tiger in–truly a great effort by all Detroit and Philly fans). The Tigers now have four players in this year’s All-Star Game (Justin Verlander, Edwin Jackson, Curtis Granderson, and Brandon Inge). It’s hard to believe the Tigers had only the obligatory representative last year in Carlos Guillen. Congratulations to all the Tigers in this year’s All-Star Game. Treasure it, it appears Inge already is.
