WISN-TV in Milwaukee has just reported that Milwaukee Brewers left-handed pitcher, Chris Capuano, will have shoulder surgery on Thursday with a reported recovery time of 4 months. No further details were available at this time.
This explains so much of the struggles for Capuano this past season. He was a major factor in the team’s slide suffering through a 5-12 season. It is quite curious that nothing was said about this during the year or why a possible injury wasn’t looked into further as the culprit of Cappy’s demise.
Capuano is eligible for arbitration this offseason so it will be interesting to see how the Brewers handle this situation.
