Cornerback Brent Grimes //platform.twitter.com/widgets.js” target=”_blank”>signed a two-year, $16.5 deal with the Buccaneers and wouldn’t you know it, Miko Grimes deleted her Twitter account.
Mrs. Grimes, who was critical of the Dolphins when her husband played in Miami, insists that quitting Twitter was not a condition of her husband signing with Tampa Bay.
Miko Grimes said this to Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, and Kelly posted it to Instagram via Bleacher Report.

It could very well be that the Buccaneers didn’t care whether or not Miko Grimes was on Twitter. New head coach Dirk Koetter, defensive coordinator Mike Smith and linebackers coach Mark Duffner all have coached the 32-year-old and that likely was the biggest factor in their decision to sign him.
Or it could be that Mrs. Grimes is so adept at breaking down film, as her Instagram rant suggests, that the Buccaneers are enlisting her help in evaluating prospects for the draft.
