BRET BIELEMA LEAVES WISCONSIN FOR ARKANSAS HEAD COACHING JOB

In a completely stunning turn of events it is being reported by both Yahoo! Sports and FootballScoop.com that Bret Bielema is to be named the Arkanasas head coach and will have a formal press conference on Wednesday to announce his hiring.

Arkansas had been rumored to be willing to spend some crazy jack to hire Les Miles away from LSU and Bielema has apparently notified his staff. Rumors of a 5 year $25 million deal for Miles were rampant and it'll be interesting to see if that kind of money was thrown Bielema's way. Either way it's safe to say the Hogs broke the piggy bank on this hire.

ESPN is reporting that Bielema does want to coach the Badgers in the Rose Bowl, but that is to be determined at this point in time.

It's way to early to know exactly who's in the mix, but Paul Chryst has to be a name on the early radar for the now vacant Wisconsin job and most likely we'll see Chris Ash or Charlie Partridge named interim coach if Bielema isn't coaching the Rose Bowl.

We will keep you posted on details and have a full report tonight on Badgers Power Hour LIVE starting at 9pm Central time. Best way to get info is by following us on Twitter @MTBadgers.
