Brewers Talking Extension with Weeks

According to SI’s Jon Heyman, Doug Melvin plans to speak to Rickie Weeks today about a possible contract extension. Not all that surprising, since we heard during the season that extension talks wouldn’t take place until the offseason. Still, my reaction to this news looks something like this:

But this is coming from the guy that tweeted “SIGN THIS MAN” after every Weeks home run this season. Maybe my reaction is a bit extreme.
