Brewers tied again for Wild Card with 4-2 win and Mets loss

CC Sabathia comes through again!
B-52 went 7 IP on just three days rest and fanned 11 en route to a 4-2 win. Coupled with the Cubs extra inning win over the Mets, the Brewers and Mets are now tied for the NL Wild Card with both teams having just four games left.
Ironically, the Brewers only mustered 2 hits on the night…but thanks to 9 base on balls and some timely hitting, the Crew turned that into 4 runs.
Thursday night’s finale with the Pirates marks the return of Yovani Gallardo to the pitcher’s mound following knee surgery. Gallardo was 0-0, 1.80 in 3 starts before getting injured on May 1 in a game against the Cubs. The Mets face the Cubs one more time before sending the Northsiders to Miller Park for three starting on Friday.
The Brewers now control their own destiny after the win Wednesday night–they win out, they are guaranteed at least one play-in game against either the Mets or the Phillies…Eric Gagné bought 5000 seats and is giving them away to ensure the fans are in force Thursday night…this is going down to the wire!
