The Brewers took the second game from the Pirates, 6-3, Saturday night, but gained no ground as the Cubs won earlier in the day.
Ryan Braun provided much of the run support for starter Jeff Suppan–Braun went 2-for-4, driving in 3 and scoring a pair, and upped his BA to .302. Suppan started with five scoreless innings, before giving up a pair of runs in the 6th and another in the 8th before giving way to Brian Shouse and Salomon Torres.
The Crew sends out CC Sabathia for the sweep on Sunday.
