Brook Lopez out again tonight, maybe even longer
Brook has missed (including tonight) the Nets' last five games, and may miss a bunch more too before he recovers from his sprained foot

Even though the original diagnosis for the foot injury Brook Lopez suffered only called for him to miss two games, the Nets' center is still out of commission five games after spraining his foot. Brook will miss tonight's game at Barclays Center against the Milwaukee Bucks too, and might not crack the lineup for awhile. Brooklyn has missed their last three games without Lopez after winning their first in his absence against the lowly Magic a little over a week ago.

That win was promptly followed by three losses, constituting Brooklyn's longest losing streak of the season (and I guess ever too). Sure, they were all against pretty good teams in the Heat, Thunder, and Warriors, but it's hard to imagine the Nets don't win any of those close games if Lopez was able to play.

Anyway, the latest news regarding Brook's ailment isn't good, and we have seen this show before with him. Last season, he missed all but four of the 66 games with a break in the same foot that is currently sprained. I'm saying the sky is falling yet, I'm just saying it might be on the edge.
