I'm actually not going to watch this year's game in boycott/protest. Who's with me? |
The Eastern and Western Conference All-Star team reserves were announced today, and shockingly, not a single Net appeared on the East's roster. Brook Lopez probably had the best shot of making it out of any Net, making it all the more confusing how frontcourt players like Tyson Chandler, Joakim Noah, and Chris Bosh made the squad over Brooklyn's center, who is 4th in the NBA in PER ahead of guys like Melo, Kobe, and Tim Duncan just to name a few. Pretty ridiculous. Both reserve rosters can be found here. Anti-Net bias is clearly still prevalent around the league, which absolutely sucks but comes with the territory of having a recent 12-70 season.
