Although most of the Boston Bruins aren’t of American decent, they won the Stanley Cup in the greatest American city this side of Revere. Due to that win, the city of Boston and it’s residents consider the Bruins players Americans and because of that Peter Chiarelli decided to throw a 4th of July BBQ to celebrate America.
I was shocked when Peter called me and said he wanted Days of Y’Orr to come so we can all hang out, eat some burgers and drink some beers. He said that he had tons of activities planned in his mansion’s backyard which include bocce ball, corquet, roasting marshmallows and playing rock band at night. Of course we said that we would make it, but it seems that someone said no. (click image below for higher-res)
When Jon, Justin, Pizz, Purrgeron and I showed up to the compound, we were ushered out back in horse drawn carriages to find the guys enjoying the day. Peter was on the grill. Hell, even Marc Savard showed up, but needed a big ass hat to keep the sun out of his eyes.
