The injury bug is going around so fast among the Bruins defensemen that even Jenny McCarthy is demanding for a vaccine. Here’s the current IR list:
– David Warsofsky: Groin strain, out 2-4 weeks
– Kevan Miller: Dislocated right shoulder, out indefinitely
– Torey Krug: Broken finger, out 2-3 weeks
– Zdeno Chara: Knee injury, out 4-6 weeks
Seriously, the Bruins are digging so deep into their defensemen depth chart that they just uncovered a Balrog.
So it’s really no surprise to hear that the Bruins are interested in acquiring a defenseman, according to Mark Divver of the Providence Journal.
Per NHL source, Bruins have trade feelers out for defensemen. This is really stating the obvious given injury situation.
