With the NFL season over for majority of teams, many of them are getting an early start to the offseason. Some teams are signing players to futures contracts, while other teams are working players out. That is the case for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who will have the number one overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Today, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the Bucs worked out Montreal Alouettes wide receiver Duron Carter. Carter, the son of Hall of Fame wide receiver Cris Carter has been receiving attention from the NFL lately as he had a breakout season in the CFL. In the CFL, Carter broke out this past season posting numbers such as 1,030 receiving yards, which was third in the league. He also had 75 catches and seven touchdowns.

This is not the only team that will be working out Carter as his dad made it known on Twitter that his son will be working out for the Indianapolis Colts on January 5 and Minnesota Vikings on January 9.

Carter will have more possible suitors in the coming weeks and months as he can sign with an NFL team on February 10. If you haven’t seen Carter play, here is a highlight video of his past two seasons with the Alouettes.
