The Bruins play tonight in Boston with the 22 year old Subban in net, so it’s possible the Rangers get the goalie on the second of a back-to-back, or Zane McIntyre who was brought up on emergency basis from the AHL. Tuukka Rask is dealing with general body soreness and is day-to-day.
Back in NY, Buchnevich skated with the team for the first time since going down to back spasms. Following Klein’s return from the same injury, we could see Buch back possibly this weekend or early next week. With Kreider not at practice, it appears that he won’t be available tomorrow either.
The beat writers at practice also mentioned that Miller was absent, but later tweeted that he’s just out for maintenance.
