One bright side of The Phantom Rainout in DC yesterday: anyone that was upset about missing Charlie Morton’s start because of yesterday’s day game won’t have to, because he’s pitching tonight. He goes against Bronson Arroyo tonight to try and stop the Pirates’ losing streak at six games. I don’t want to speculate about the coming pitching matchups and schedule, but I really hope the Pirates can get a win tonight and stop this from getting ugly.
The first pitch tonight is scheduled for 7:10. I have no idea if it’s supposed to rain in Cincinnati, but I assume that it is.
