The summer can be boring for hockey fans. Especially for teams not in the playoffs. Luckily we are here to help you get over the summer blues. It’s the off-season mailbag!
what are some possible trade scenarios with cbj this summer

Oh my. Getting to the meat of it already. Any trades made this year would probably be of the cap dumping variety. Think of aging veterans making a lot of money with very little output. Players on defense such as Jack Johnson and Fedor Tyutin will likely be on the block. Forwards like Scott Hartnell were also bandied about around the trade deadline. If the expansion draft rules are any indication, the value on each of these players has gone down significantly. To sweeten these deals, players with high values will likely have to be added. Whether that will be current NHLers or AHLers remains to be seen, but don’t expect a one for one trade. Matt Calvert and Cam Atkinson will never have more value then they do now. Some real wrangling will have to be done this off-season.

Don’t think I have run into an easier question. Milano would obviously be a junior bacon cheeseburger. A great value, yet very dynamic. It goes well with pretty much anything. Hold on, I need to go to Wendy’s.
will you marry me?

You didn’t say please, so the answer must be no. Sorry Tyler, maybe next time.
