Bucs Accomplish a lot with close loss to Packers

The Buccaneers finished with a 300-yard passer (QB Josh Freeman), a 100-yard rusher (RB LeGarrette Blount) and 100-yard receiver (TE Kellen Winslow) for the first time since December 2, 2007, when Buccaneers RB Earnest Graham recorded 22 rushes for 106 yards, WR Joey Galloway recorded seven receptions for 159 yards and QB Luke McCown was 29-of-37 passing for 313 yards against the New Orleans Saints.

The Buccaneers finished with 455 yards of offense today, the third time the team has finished with 400+ yards of total offense in a game this season.

– RB LeGarrette Blount recorded a career-long 54-yard touchdown run in the second quarter of today’s game. It was the longest touchdown rush by a Buccaneer since September 14, 2008, when RB Earnest Graham recorded a 68-yard touchdown run against Atlanta. The score was the 10th rushing touchdown of Blount’s career moving him into a tie with RB Michael Pittman for the 11th-most in team history.

Blount finished with 107 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries (5.9 avg.) today and now has six 100-yard rushing games in his career, tied for the ninth-most in team history.

– QB Josh Freeman finished 28-of-38 passing for 342 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions for a passer rating of 96.6. The 342 yards was a career-high for Freeman and marked the third 300-yard passing game of his career and the second this season. Freeman found nine different receivers on the day and helped three of those to each record over 75 yards receiving.

– TE Kellen Winslow extended his pass-catching streak to 86 consecutive games today, as he finished with nine receptions for a career-high 132 yards. It was the seventh 100-yard receiving game of his career and the first since November 15, 2009 at Miami.

Winslow currently has the third-longest active streak among tight ends and has the seventh-longest streak overall.
