Tampa Bay Buccaneers apologize to fans, promise 50% off on Food/Bev for Detroit Lions Home Opener

The list of problems from Tampa Bay Buccaneers preseason home opener against the New England Patriots goes far beyond just the offensive line play. The concession stands/vendors that work Raymond James Stadium apparantly have preseason issues too.

Fans complained Thursday night of restaurants who ran out of food half way through the game, some vendors could not take credit cards, and even some complaints of food not being prepared properly.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have served notice they are aware of the problem, and have offered to take care of fans to try to make things right.

On September the 11th, Opening Day vs the Detroit Lions, All Food and Non-Alchoholic beverages will be 50% off to everyone at the stadium on that day. “The Tampa Bay Buccaneers take our fans’ stadium experience very seriously,” said Jonathan Grella, the team’s director of communications.

Grella said fans shouldn’t have to go through preseason preparations when it comes to service. “It is our commitment to ensure that our fans receive a first-class experience at all Buccaneer games,” he said.
