Heck, Orange/Purple. No matter how many ways you try to come up with a description for the drastic difference between the two halves of the Bucs/Vikings game, words do not describe the change. The Bucs were completely and utterly outplayed by the Minnesota Vikings in the first half. Only one time did the Bucs have anything that resembled a drive, stalling at the Viking 49 yard line. Not even the 2 minute offense could muster more than a first down, however Minnesota did score a TD within the confines of first half’s 2Minute Warning.
Down 17-0, the Bucs came out in the second half, stopped the Vikings, and Josh Freeman hit a long pass followed by a LeGarrette Blount TD run, then the magic really started.
Raheem Morris called for an onsides kick, which was successful, but Josh Freeman killed the drive with an interception in the end zone. Never the less, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Defense came out to play, and shut down the Vikings offense.
LeGarrette Blount scored with less than :30 left in the game, as the Bucs upset Minnesota.
