Bucs choose to go with a more veteran Punter

Gone is Brent Bowden, who actually punted pretty well for the Bucs this preseason. Except for a couple of unforgivable 25 yard shanks with no one near him. Apparently it was too much for the Bucs coaching staff who picked up punter Chris Bryan from the Green Bay Packers who punted well this preseason; without shanks. Mark Dominik and Raheem Morris, along with the rest of the pro scouts, have been very busy the last few days picking up some of the bubble players from OTHER teams rosters. This is nothing new for the Bucs lately, as they have bolstered their roster with other teams good players that simply couldn’t survive the numbers. Donald Penn is an example of one of these types of players, as Dominik plucked Penn off of Minnesota’s practice Squad. The roster is likely to be in flux over the next couple of days, and then will settle down.
