Bucs find an identity- They’re the ComeBack Kids

Bucs find an identity- They're the ComeBack KidsThey made us wait. They kept us by the edge of our seats while they committed offsides penalties on Rams FG attempts, offsides on just about every play, and while Aqib Talib dropped two interceptions. They kept us teetering on the edge of sanity while “….number 62” was called so many times he may have an official stat by the time you read this. But in the end, they put their faith in Josh Freeman, who himself was not having a great game to say the least. Freeman made key throws to Mike Williams, Kellen Winslow Jr, and Sammy Stroughter, while Legarrette Blount may have given us some hope for a legit running attack one day. Speaking of running attacks, Cadillac Williams may be about finished being the feature tailback, but he pretty much guarantees himself a spot on the field on third downs, with the Winning TD catch! And while the jury may still be out on whether the Bucs have found a new punter, Tampa Bay officially threw out their “Place Kicker Wanted” sign, as Connor Barth added a 53 yard FG as well as three other kicks to inch the Bucs closer and closer to victory. Connor Barth has been nothing but money this year. While Cadillac was making a move to renew his lease on football life, no greater turnaround in one game could have been done better than the effort by Barrett Ruud. Criticized of late for his lack of play making, Ruud was all over the field and made tons of worthwhile tackles; most of which were NOT more than a few yards down field.
