Bucs tickets 17% below average for matchup vs Ravens

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are just 1-4 on the year through five games, but after turning to Mike Glennon under center in Week 4, have at least looked like a respectable team. Over the past two weeks, Glennon has helped the Bucs to an upset win over the Steelers and nearly got the best of the Saints in an overtime shootout on the road.

Going into Week 6, Glenno and and Bucs will be out for another upset, as the Baltimore Ravens come to town. Joe Flacco and co. will be on the hunt for their fourth win of the season, in an inter-conference clash of teams on other sides of the NFL spectrum. Playing the underdog is what the Buccaneers do best, but if the Ravens look past them they could easily experience the same fate the Steelers did just two weeks ago.

Buccaneers ticket won’t be very expensive for the game on the secondary market, coming in 17% below Tampa Bay’s season average. The average secondary market price for Buccaneers vs Ravens tickets is $112.46 with a get-in price of $31.

What makes this matchup especially interesting for Bucs fans is Joe Flacco, who has had a terrible run on the road lately. He didn’t look particularly great on the road last week and could be in line for another tough outing if Tampa Bay’s defense comes to play.

Mostly a middle of the pack unit to this point, the Bucs are fairly underrated, likely due to giving up a ton of points to the Falcons and Saints in two of their last three games. However, Lovie Smith’s unit has been at it’s best on it’s own field, giving up just 39 total points in Tampa in two contests. With that said, a 30th ranked Buccaneers pass defense may be tested this week, as familiar foe Steve Smith won’t hold back after having a bit of a down week in week five. That could have this matchup going either way, too, as the ranks are in favor of Flacco and Baltimore’s passing attack, but Flacco’s road woes are not.

It works both ways, though, as Baltimore’s weakness this year has been their pass defense, by far. With the 27th-ranked pass defense in the league, the Ravens could also have their hands full if Glennon can come in and connect with Vincent Jackson like he did a week ago.
