BucStop.com's ANSWER FRIDAY!!
Jimmy Giles has the honor of being the record holder for most TDs in a game, with 4 vs Dolphins in 1985.
Well only three questions came through the email link, but hey, first time, so I will answer all three! LETS GO!! Q: Who was the first Quarterback for the Bucs? Ken W, Valrico,FL A: No joke, Steve Spurrier was the first ever Bucs Quarterback for our Buccanneers. Spurrier was the Heisman Trophy winner from Florida in 1966, and was the backup QB with the San Francisco 49ers for almost a decade when he was left unprotected in the 1976 expansion draft. Spurrier only played the 1976, after that a number of guys tried out for the role, with Doug Williams getting the drafted in 78. Q: Whos scored the most Touchdowns in a game? Todd S. Daytona Beach, FL A: Lots of players have done the hat trick in Bucs history, but only one player has ever scored 4 TDs in one game, and that was Jimmy Giles doing it down in Miami against the Dolphins in 1985! Q:Who are the Bucs going to draft? Kenny B, New Mexico A: Thats where your guess is as good as mine Kenny! But my money is on Gerald McCoy. Dont buy the trade down because there is no money talk, thats why the Bucs werent that active in Free Agency. There is a lot of money that is going to be spent on these premium draft picks. The draft is so deep, that even the Bucs second round pick is like a normal 1st rounder, so Golden Tate would be my second choice (or rather first of the second round picks). After that, well, see you Thursday! Send in your questions throughout the week to [email protected] and I will answer your Bucs questions on   ANSWER FRIDAYS!
