Burning River Baseball 2015-16 Off-Season Primer

Just because the Indians are done for the season doesn’t mean we are here at BurningRiverBaseball.com. As we do during the season, we will continue bringing you brand new Cleveland Indians based content every single day throughout the off-season. If you are looking for a respite from the constant barrage that is the NFL and college football, you have a safe place here.

In addition to the normal post-season look backs and look forward, the historical perspective will be stepped up as always with a whole slew of new All-Time Indians bios every Monday and Thursday and a brand new set of top ten lists. This year, the focus will largely be on the greatest minor leaguers in Indians history at each level. For the bios, in addition to entirely new players, like Cinders O’Brien, Dave Burba and Matt Lawton, we will be going over a few of the originals and relaunching an updated, more thorough look back at the greatest Indians of all time starting with Earl Averill later today..

Focusing on the current team, we will have the top ten offensive and defensive plays of the year as well as the Burning River Awards and our first ever minor league rankings. Without worry, we will have plenty to talk about until things really start rolling again in February.

If all that isn’t enough for you, Tribe Time Now will continue producing podcasts (although at a slower rate) during the off-season including a brand new game show called ‘Do You Wahoo?’ that will be hosted by yours truly. Contestants will be drawn from the contributors to the Tribe Time Now network as we see who is the Cleveland Indians trivia master.

For even more Tribe talk (plus at least a little of those other sports) make sure to follow all the writers at BurningRiverBaseball. You can find myself (@BRBBlog), Mike (@melaragno_22), Kevin (@KGall216), John (@JohnArthurHutch), Danny (@DCunninghamCLE) and Caitlin (@cle_ItIsGone) on twitter and the official BurningRiver page on facebook at facebook.com/burningriverbaseball.
