Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has been under a lot of scrutiny over the past week for his gameday attire.
Newton failed to wear a tie traveling to Seattle last week for the team’s game against the Seahawks — instead sporting a turtleneck — which led to him being benched for the first series of the NFC matchup.
That outfit was not eccentric, but the one he wore after Week 14’s 28-16 win against the Chargers was.

Somehow, Newton pulled off the look, whereas most of us could not. The hat, handkerchief, shirt, he had it all going on there.
