Katie Carrera at the Washington Post reports that Capitals forward Mike Knuble received a maintenance day today.
Carrera adds that Knuble might have taken a Mike Green shot off his hand late in the third period of Game 3.

Finally, Green gave this response to a question on whether he felt the Rangers were coming at him high (ie Staal hit)…
“I don’t know. They’re coming hard,” Green said. “Whether it’s high or just finishing their checks is irrelevant. They’re coming so hard that, you know, it’s hard to get out of the way. It is what it is. It’s part of the game. I’m not complaining.”
