Carl Landry not with the team tonight in Oakland.

Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee is reporting that Kings forward Carl Landry did not travel with the team today after sustaining an eye injury in practice yesterday. After yesterday’s practice, we were told that Carl had had a contact knocked out and was unavailable while he was dealt with that issue. The Kings are already dealing with injuries to both Samuel Dalembert and Hassan Whiteside in post.

Expect both Donté Greene, Darnell Jackson and Connor Atchely to fill in behind starters Jason Thompson and DeMarcus Cousins tonight against Golden State. With an active big like David Lee, it will be interesting to see if the Kings front line can avoid the foul trouble that plagued them against the Clippers.

Tonight’s game is not televised and The Purple Panjandrum is not yet ready to travel the country following the team so we will have to rely on alternative sources for our information.
